Digital4Pharma 2022:Resume Connection

Re-connect, Re-imagine, be-Ready

 

Over the last 8 years, the pioneering learning activities of #Digital4Pharma have shown the way on how to embrace a culture of innovation and helped hundreds of pharmaceutical executives to develop and expand their digital skills.

 

On Tuesday, July 5th, Digital4Pharma learning activity is returning back to an in-person meeting, at the premises of OTEAcademy, highlighting once again new perspectives, practices and experiential learning. Digital4Pharma ‘s dynamic community will have the opportunity to interact again with each other, to redetermine its orientation and to investigate new ways on how to optimally reconnect with its target ''audience''.

 

The new era, the needs and expectations of patients, doctors, nurses and pharmacists will be in the limelight. We will share state-of-the-art digital practices, exchange views on current challenges and end up with top-notch business solutions to meet our customers’ needs. We will participate again in interactive discussions and thematic workshops aiming at developing the digital capabilities needed depending on our interests, role and function.

 

The event is organized by GET2WORK under the auspices of  SFEE, PEF, PIF, EEFaM, ELEFI and EFEX.

 

(*) The plenary sessions of the event will be live streaming and available on demand for those who won’t be able to attend in person.

Filippo Benetti, PhD, is a physicist and Data Scientist with experience in real-world data analytics in the healthcare industry. In Alira Health, he leads the practice of Advanced Analytics developing innovative methodologies based on Machine Learning and Big Data to support pharmaceutical clients in defining marketing and supply chain optimization strategies based on medical claims and anonymized patient data. His team also integrates the Alira Health strategy and M&A practices with data management and mathematical modelling capabilities. He gained his PhD in nanotechnology for medical applications at the University of Trento.

Stephanos Economides is the founder of the company SEO In Greece, which provides digital marketing services to companies, organizations and freelancers. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MSc In Marketing (Distinction) from Stirling University and has been certified Chartered Marketer by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has given more than 5,000 hours of presentations to business executives on issues of Strategic Marketing and Digital Marketing, while he writes articles and gives speeches at conferences on specific topics. In 2021 he undertook for the purpose of IME GSEVEE the creation of the Roadmap of adaptation for the profession of Digital Marketer.

George Kalamitsis is a founding member and president of the Greek Patients Association of Prometheus since 2012, and a founding member of the Hellenic Patients Association. He also chairs the LPI (liver patients international). He deals with Health Policy, specializing in the field of public health. His work is related to providing support to people living with viral hepatitis or other liver disease, advocating for their rights by providing informed health policies. Recently, he was appointed Member of the Central Health Council (2019) and as Chairman of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Recipients of Health Services (Ministry of Health 2017). He has worked extensively with many organizations, focusing on patients' rights as well as the creation of communication channels with organizations and stakeholders, at national and international level.

Konstantinos, after completing his undergraduate studies at the School of Nursing Officers, graduated with honors from all military schools, as an officer of the Greek Army and specialized in the operating room, where he still works today. Subsequently, he completed postgraduate studies at the Hellenic Open University in Business Administration (MBA) and since 2017 he is a PhD Candidate at Panteion University in the Department of Psychology. In recent years, he has also worked privately in several hospitals, while now he is the head of surgery at a large clinic in Athens. After his specialization in cardiac surgery nursing, he began to be actively involved in the implementation of Positive Psychology intervention programs in groups of patients suffering from cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis and kidney disease. In the context of his involvement with Positive Psychology, he has dealt with Health Psychology, Positive Psychotherapy and self-management of Chronic Pain. In addition, he has participated in several European and Greek conferences, while he has several publications in foreign journals. One year later I took over in my responsibility the data privacy activities acting as Privacy Liaison. Since June 2020, I am leading the Ethics and Compliance Function for Greece, Cyprus and Malta. My main responsibilities involve designing the company's healthcare compliance and ethics written standards, procedures, controls and guidance documents, managing the risks and overseeing the deployment of live and web-based compliance training to employees. I hold a bachelor degree in Legal Studies and a MBA with major in Telecoms and New Technologies. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading books, watching movies and practicing yoga and Pilates.

Ioannis Ofakoglou is the Founder & Director of RISTART, a fast-growing Marketing Agency based in Thessaloniki, which has taken on significant projects in collaboration with companies in Greece and abroad. He participates as a keynote speaker in conferences and conducts in-house workshops where he trains marketers and brand managers. Athanasios Symeonidis is a General Practitioner, resident Thessaloniki, married with three sons, born in Thessaloniki on 1- 1-1955. He participated in a very large number of Greek and International Conferences as a speaker, chair, commentator and reviewer, while he has numerous publications in foreign scientific journals as well as free announcements in Greek and International Conferences. He also assisted in writing books as well as participating in research projects as researcher and as a member of the Scientific Committee. He dedicated himself to the training of General Practitioners and not only. Organize large number of conferences, symposia, clinical tutorials. Since 1993 until 2006 he was National Representative at the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice (EURACT) from where he ‘introduced’ in Greece the Teaching the Teachers Course implemented since 2000 every year. Finally, he was Education Coordinator and General Coordinator of Central Macedonia in the specialty of General Medicine (1999-2020) It should be noted that he was honored with the “5star Doctor 2013” ​​Wonca Europe Award International Award.

She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2007 at Sanofi where she acquired significant experience in both sales and marketing. From 2016 to 2020 took on the role of Brand and Customer Engagement Manager in therapeutic category of Cardiovascular and then Diabetes developing innovative solutions to the customer approach. Since October 2022 she has been working at Novo Nordisk Hellas undertaking the launch of a new product through innovative and multichannel approaches.
