The value of continuous education for Healthcare Professionals is recognized by all (scientific community, authorities, businesses) and is provided through various means today, such as conferences, scientific events, medical updates, publications, webinars/digital events, medical portals, etc.
The scope of topics has also expanded beyond purely medical and pharmaceutical fields, now including subjects related to skill development (soft skills) regarding the therapeutic relationship, as well as scientific familiarity with modern practices, tools, and legislation.
During the 2nd symposium of the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Management Society (E.E.Fa.M), titled “The Evolving Role of the Medical Department,” held on April 18, 2019, at the Institute of Biomedical Research of the Academy of Athens (IIBEAA), Konstantinos Varsamos, Managing Partner of GET2WORK, presented the indicative topics and specialized approach for training Healthcare Professionals. He highlighted the methods and measurable benefits gained by all stakeholders (healthcare professionals, patients, pharmaceutical companies) through this education.
